First up, we had local band, Valentine's Day, who crushed it. They self-identify as a "queer and WOC (women of color) band from New Brunswick" with an incredibly cohesive sound and a very cool style. Next up was Toads, another local band who absolutely shredded. They describe their music as "Like Black Sabbath at the drive thru" which I can definitely confirm is true. Their energy was contagious and was perfect for riling up the crowd. Finally, our beautiful and very anticipated headliner, Screaming Females was next. Screaming Females is a beloved band from New Brunswick that has new been touring and doing shows across the nation for the past 17 years. In fact, their first show ever show was at Rutgers, at the very same venue as Corefest (how cool is that!!). They were everything that everyone hoped for and delivered such an amazing, emotion-filled full 1-hour long set. The biggest possible shoutout to all 3 of these bands, thank you all for your performances. 

Besides music, we also had a variety of amazing vendors!! Ranging from art and design to jewelry to records, it was so much fun to have such a diverse array of art at Corefest! A big thank you to all of our vendors as well.
