This past December, The Core held its first-ever Vendor Fair showcasing student and community artists. Our DJs turned the upstairs of Livingston Student Center into a winter wonderland! Students and passersbys got to meet and explore the artwork and craftsmanship that our community has to offer! Supporting local artists meets holiday shopping!
The Core also provided some free expression for the attendees in the form of button-making! Those who didn't find anything to buy didn't leave empty-handed. The event offered students a place to take a break from the stress of finals, come together, eat cookies and popcorn, and cozy up to a yule log in the Holiday Spirit.
We plan to continue putting on events that bring our community together and give a platform to local artists the way we do on air. Keep an eye out for similar events in the Spring Semester.
