Artificial Intelligence seems to be everywhere we look nowadays. Everyone seems to be using ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, even journalists. But what does this mean for a field centered around the human condition? To find out, contributing writer and Core DJ Daniel Siegel interviewed four journalists on their views of journalism in the age of AI. Daniel explores the ways journalists currently use AI, the ways journalists might use AI as the technology becomes more advanced, the potential capabilities of an “AI journalist,” and stories which an AI journalist might or might not struggle to write.
