The night began with Heathmonger (@heathmonger), a psychedelic band formed in New Brunswick, NJ! The performance featured Eve Riley on guitar and vocals, Reinah Bauer on bass and vocals, and Xaviar Miller on drums. Their garage punk instrumental breaks were raucous, setting the haunted mood for the rest of the evening.

Next, drag queen Elizabeth New Jersey (@queenelizabethnewjersey) bewitched the crowd with two routines. The first was set to Eartha Kitt's "I Want to Be Evil," while the second was to the Halloween classic "Sweet Transvestite" by Tim Curry from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Local indie rock band Spring State (@springstateofficial) was our third act, playing songs from their album Everything Must Grow. Their performance featured AJ on vocals and guitar, Ed on guitar, Mike Rayment on bass, and Xaviar Miller (again!) on drums. Their indie rock tunes mellowed out into more of a grunge sound in the latter half, but not before bursting into energetic pop punk, which had the crowd moshing around the room.

Milkshake Grenade (@milkshake.grenade), made up of Jake Diamint (dressed as Walter White!) and Dante Hailstork on vocals and guitar, Ethan on bass, and Brandon Oliff on drums, closed out Spooky Sounds with a bang! The walls of the student center vibrated with their frenzied vocals and ended the night on a high note.
